RACE
Takuma Sato drove a solid race in Sepang as the Super Aguri F1 team recorded another finish in only its second grand prix. After starting 17th on the grid, Taku finished 14th, as the team produced a slicker display in Malaysia.
Takuma Sato:"Great team work has meant that we have been able to improve on our pit-stops since Bahrain and, as a result, I lost no time and was able to get back into the race and actually challenge a few cars. Of course, we struggle on the high downforce corners with our pace, but I had another exciting race and at least we managed to finish the race once again. We still have a lot of hard work to do if we are to catch up to our nearest rivals, but we showed good teamwork today and I am very happy and proud of the team."

QUALIFYING
Takuma Sato will be starting Super Aguri F1's second ever grand prix amongst the 'big guns' after Honda engine reliability has ensured that he will grid ahead of the likes of Ferrari, Red Bull Racing, Toyota and Honda Racing F1 in Malaysia.
"I believe that we did the best job we could today and I think that we achieved the car's best performance. Unfortunately, we are still struggling in the mid-sector due to understeer, but we are running reliably and will have both cars on the starting grid tomorrow which is great. This is a high downforce circuit, so we knew that we would have a hard race in Sepang, but we shall do our best tomorrow and hopefully be able to bring our two cars home."

PRACTICE
Just a week after the team's debut race in Bahrain, Takuma Sato was back in action for Super Aguri F1 at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia, running through his planned practice programme without any setbacks, despite the sultry heat of Kuala Lumpur.
Takuma Sato:"It was another solid day for the team and we did not encounter any problems. We completed our planned programme, which included an intensive tyre test, and so we have been able to collect some very valuable data to help us decide our set-up for tomorrow. It has been a very good start to the weekend and I am pleased with what we have been able to accomplish today."
